Cooling Troughs

The cooling trough applies the special dry type transformer short circuit for heating. There are six individually controlled heating pipes. Each pipe has the heating power of 60KVA. The cable should have a precooling section between the hot nitrogen area and water cooling area, so that the temperature gradual change can be guaranteed during the cable production process. Through such process, the cable quality will be improved with less stress of insulation layer.

The 12 meter precooling pipe includes two sections, while 54 to 65 meters long cooling pipe is made up of 9 sections. This cooling trough uses the enclosed water cooling system.
